Meet Cara Clark, your Birmingham Real Estate Agent. With her passionate work ethic, her tireless determination to fulfill every home seeker’s needs, and her love for new challenges, she has met high levels of customer satisfaction and sales goals since starting her real estate career in 2011.

A Broker Associate REALTOR® with White House Real Estate in Birmingham, Ala., she offers a wide range of luxury residential properties new and old, large and small: single-family homes, condos, townhomes, rental apartments. Cara specializes in properties in Homewood, Mountain Brook, Vestavia Hills, Crestline, and Birmingham proper, with offerings in Alabaster, Chelsea, Hoover, Pelham, McCalla, and Trussville.

“Birmingham is where my heart is,” says Cara. “I absolutely love this town. There are so many different areas and communities to fit anyone’s taste. I love getting to know people and their personalities and tastes, and tailoring my work to best fit them. I respect every individual’s wants and needs. I know selling or buying a home is a huge decision. So I try to take any fears they may have and turn them into faith and trust, so everyone can have a blissful experience.” She is also a certified Professional Property Manager, Interior Decorator and Home Stager.

Cara does so by listening carefully to all of her clients to determine their needs. “I am committed to listening and giving all applicable information that makes them feel 100% comfortable with the entire process,” she says. “I am with them even after the transaction. With an accounting and business background, I apply different approaches to find and properly price and market a seller’s home.”

She generates a list of properties compatible with the buyer’s needs and financial resources, and even accompanies the buyer to property visits and home inspections to advise on the home’s suitability and value. She presents different purchase offers to sellers and intermediates in buyer-seller negotiations. “I enjoy the hunt, running around the city looking at historic properties, new developments, and everything in between,” she says. Cara also stays up to date on the current real estate market by reviewing trade journals and attending real estate conferences and seminars to make sure each of her clients gets the best value. “I see to it that they get the house they want and want the house they get,” she says. “Today’s market is competitive, so I apply different and unique ways to market homes.”

Cara began as an active licensee and broker associate in Cleveland, MS. She attended the University of Mississippi and received a degree in Accounting and Business Administration with a minor in Real Estate and Insurance from Delta State University. She is a Preferred Fast Expert Agent and a Preferred Thumbtack Professional. She is a Certified Home Marketing Expert (CHME). Her many memberships include the Birmingham, Alabama, and National Associations of REALTORS®, the Young Professionals Network of Realtors in Birmingham, the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network of Birmingham, Young Professionals of Birmingham, and Young Professionals of the Birmingham Botanical Gardens, Junior League of Birmingham, and the chapter leader for the Birmingham Lobby Medical Professionals network..

Born on Christmas Day, Cara is an ordained minister who is active in many religious and charitable organizations and causes: the Redeemer Community Church of Birmingham, the Josh Abide Memorial Benefit (for which she raised $13,500 for a memorial scholarship at Presbyterian Day School), the Out of the Darkness Walk (for which she raised the highest amount on her team), the Teach for America Registration & Greeting Committee, the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, Relay for Life, the MS Walk, and Walgreens Blood Pressure Screenings.

In her free time, Cara loves to play tennis, explore the city, and follow its latest trends in architecture and design. “This city has given me more than I could have asked for,” she says. “You can probably find me standing in line at one of Birmingham’s amazing food trucks!” She also loves to spend time with family and friends, her crazy cat Ziggy, and the Lord. She enjoys golf and tennis.
